When I received the great news that my sponsored child’s community is ready to fly, I found out I could send a special gift to Franck and his family. It was a wonderful way for me to say goodbye, and to wish them well in the future.
Later, I received a letter in the mail from world Vision – it was a letter and a photo from Franck! The letter was from Franck written in Creole, and translated into English. It was so wonderful and touching to receive his message. The photo showed Franck with the goat he received as part of the special gift. I was so pleased to see this as a goat is a very valuable resource in Haiti, and will benefit Franck and his family for years to come. What a wonderful way to say farewell.
