We had set out to raise $15,000. In the end, we raised more than $33,000!! That is about 220% of our goal – amazing!

We had great participation in the event. Close to 110 people registered to participate in the walk, mostly in the Fredericton, Oromocto and New Maryland area. We also had participants in Woodstock and Moncton, New Brunswick, Truro, Nova Scotia, and even in St. John’s Newfoundland.

It was a beautiful day for the walk. People enjoyed getting out as groups (according to COVID guidelines), families, or individuals. Many four-legged friends also came along for the walk! It was a great chance for people to take a tangible steps to help those in need, to spend time with family and friends, and to enjoy the great outdoors.

On behalf of us here at FreddyLink, and on behalf of World Vision, we want to thank all of the participants, and the many, many generous donors, who made this event such a success. Your participation and support will make a huge and tangible difference to the lives of children and families in Haiti !!
