I received this question in an e-mail. It is a great question, so I thought I would post an answer here for everyone to read.
I checked out the World Vision financial report for 2009. It is located on the World Vision Canada website www.worldvision.ca, under “About us”. In 2009, 81.2% of donations went to programs, 6.1% to administration and 12.7% to fundraising. In my opinion, that is an impressive record.
