As we approach Christmas, I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. May you and your loved ones experience peace and joy this Christmas.
Christmas is a time when we traditionally exchange gifts. Yet many of the things which are most precious to us are things we cannot see. Things like the love we share with friends and family. I believe that as we sponsor children, we give a most precious gift, yet one we cannot see or touch. That gift is hope.
We should never underestimate the power of hope. It is hope that allows us to rise above our circumstances, that allows us to live instead of merely surviving. This Christmas I want to say a special thank you to everyone who sponsors a child. Thank you for providing that most precious gift of hope.
